Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited action drama Bhairavam, scheduled to hit theaters on May 30, 2025. Directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, the film also features Manchu Manoj and Nara Rohit in powerful lead roles. With intense posters, teasers, and a steady promotional campaign, Bhairavam has generated a decent buzz in Tollywood circles.

In a recent interview, Bellamkonda made a bold statement comparing Bhairavam to the critically acclaimed Tamil hit Kantara Garudan. He confidently said, “Bhairavam’s vibe will surely overshadow Kantara Garudan, even though the soul of that film remains strong.” He further added, “People will be surprised to know how strong Garudan’s story really is—only after they watch our film. We’ve literally re-written the cinematic language.”

The actor’s remarks have created curiosity as well as controversy. While some fans welcomed his confidence, others felt the comparison with Kantara Garudan was unnecessary. Nonetheless, these statements have intensified the spotlight on Bhairavam, making it one of the most talked-about releases of the season.

Bhairavam also stars Aditi Shankar, Anandhi, and Divya Pillai in key roles. The film is an official remake of the 2024 Tamil hit Garudan, produced by KK Radhamohan and Jayantilal Gada. With strong performances, high-stakes drama, and gripping emotion, all eyes are now on whether Bhairavam can live up to the hype.
