Star Kollywood filmmaker Atlee, who is currently immersed in the pre-production of his next big project AA22XA6 starring Tollywood icon Allu Arjun, has been chosen for a prestigious honor. The acclaimed director is all set to receive an Honorary Doctorate from the renowned Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
The 34th Convocation Ceremony of the university will take place on campus, where Atlee will be felicitated for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. This recognition is a significant milestone for the director, who started his journey as an assistant to legendary filmmaker Shankar, and later rose to fame with his successful debut Raja Rani.
