SLBC: Tunnels are dug in many countries around the world. These are used for travel or for mines. Sometimes, however, some people are trapped due to dangers while working. Eight workers were trapped in the tunnel during the SLBC tunnel accident. There have been many such accidents around the world.

In January 2025, demand in Assam was flooded in the coal mine in Umrangso area of Hasao district. On November 12, 2023, 41 workers were killed in the North Kashi Tunnel in Uttarakhand.
41 workers were safely brought out with the help of Rat Hole Ning Technique in Uttakashi Tonnel. In November 2022, the tunnel that collapsed was a result of the construction of the Himachal Pradesh Mandi Highway. About 60 workers were safely evacuated. Heavy rains in 2018 are a rescue of 12 Junior Association Food Ball team in the Thai Luang Song Frang Nang cave in North Thailand due to heavy rains.
