The India Story: Low buzz hits Kajal Aggarwal social drama

The India Story: Kajal Aggarwal’s intense social drama is set to release in Hindi tomorrow, but the film faces a low buzz among audiences. The India Story focuses on the harmful effects of pesticide farming on public health. Despite its strong subject, there is very little awareness about the film among moviegoers. Advance bookings reflect the same, with slow ticket sales ahead of its release.

Kajal Aggarwal plays the role of an advocate in this hard-hitting narrative. Shreyas Talpade also plays a key role, adding depth to the story. The promotional assets for The India Story failed to reach the audience effectively. As a result, the film’s success now depends entirely on its content and word-of-mouth publicity to create an impact at the ticket windows.

In an unexpected development, the Telugu and Tamil dubbed versions of The India Story will not release simultaneously as announced earlier. These versions have yet to complete the censor formalities. Only the Hindi version will go ahead as planned. This update has further dampened the initial excitement around the film’s multi-language release.

The India Story is directed by Chettan DK and presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios. It is produced by Sagar B. Shinde. With no major buzz, the movie must rely on strong audience reviews to succeed. The coming days will reveal whether this social drama can overcome its marketing challenges and connect with viewers through its message.
