New car launches: 4 new SUVs and a pickup are set to hit the market in the coming days. Maruti Suzuki will launch the Brezza facelift on July 24, while the next-generation Toyota Hilux pickup goes on sale on July 28. The Honda ZR-V and Kia Syros EV are also ready for showrooms, though their official launch dates remain unannounced.
The 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift features improved styling and a new 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.5L petrol mild hybrid and 1.5L petrol-CNG options continue. Inside, it gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, and ventilated seats.
The next-generation Toyota Hilux rides on the body-on-frame IMV platform with a honeycomb grille and ‘TOYOTA’ lettering. It includes a surround view camera, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, and a 2.8L diesel engine. The Kia Syros EV offers 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs, with a range expected to exceed the Carens Clavis EV and Creta Electric. It has EV-specific changes like new alloy wheels and a charging flap.
The Honda ZR-V uses a 2.0L petrol engine with a dual-motor hybrid system, producing 184bhp and 315Nm. It achieves 0-100kmph in 8 seconds, a top speed of 172kmph, and fuel efficiency of 22.79kmpl. These new car launches bring diverse options for buyers, from compact SUVs to a rugged pickup and eco-friendly EVs. With key models arriving soon, the market is set for an exciting period ahead.
