The Telugu original Baby, starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, was a major success both in terms of content and box office performance. Excited by this, Sai Razesh decided to bring the story to a Hindi-speaking audience. Initially, Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan, was signed for one of the lead roles. However, the Baby Hindi Remake faced a setback when Babil Khan walked out of the project. For a while, there were no updates on who would replace him.
Sai Razesh confirmed that shooting is almost complete for the Baby Hindi Remake. The remaining portions will be wrapped up in the next 10 days. He also clarified that although Babil Khan is no longer part of the project, they share a good relationship. “We still share a good relationship, and I am ready to work with him,” said Sai Razesh about the actor.
