The director explained the percentage breakdown in detail. He said, “Jana Nayagan is 50% Bhagavanth Kesari. The first half has 60%, while the second half has 20%.” Vinoth added that he initially suggested a different script for Vijay’s last movie. However, Vijay preferred to remake Bhagavanth Kesari because of its strong themes of women empowerment. Vinoth noted, “Vijay sir is into women empowerment. I saw the same with Ajith sir during the Pink remake.”
Vinoth shared how Vijay convinced him to take on the remake. He recalled, “I asked Thalapathy Vijay sir why we had to go for a remake.
