Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar’s latest movie ‘Surfira’ released in theaters on July 12 amid good reviews. This movie is a remake of Surrai Potru (Akaashme Nee Haddura) which came out in Tamil. With lady director Sudha Kongara directing this film, the film unit is confident that this film will be a hit at the box office.
If cut, market sources say that Sarfira’s film had the worst opening collections on the day of release. In the last 15 years, Akshay Kumar’s film has got the lowest opening. Surfira movie collected Rs.2.40 crores on its opening day. His previous film ‘Bade Mia Chote Mia’ earned Rs. 16 crores on the opening day.
And in 2009, the film ‘8×10 Tasveer’ brought in Rs.1.80 crore openings. His fans want Akshay Kumar to stop doing remake movies and do movies with good content.
