Honda ZR-V: 22.79kmpl Hybrid SUV Launches Next Week. Honda’s first hybrid SUV for India, the ZR-V, will go on sale next week on July 20 or 21, 2026. It enters the market as the brand’s new flagship SUV, imported as a CBU (completely built unit) in limited numbers. Pre-bookings are already open nationwide.
The Honda ZR-V is priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 50 lakh. It competes with the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, Skoda Kodiaq, and Jeep Meridian. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a dual motor strong hybrid system powers the Honda ZR-V. It delivers 184bhp and 315Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT gearbox and standard front-wheel drive. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 8 seconds, reaches a top speed of 172 kmph, and claims 22.79 kmpl fuel efficiency.
The India-bound ZR-V features a dual screen setup: a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Additional highlights include a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a wireless phone charger, dual-zone climate control, and 8-way powered front seats with leatherette upholstery. However, it lacks a sunroof and ventilated seats. Safety includes eight airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.

With 4,567mm length, 1,840mm width, and 1,621mm height on a 2,655mm wheelbase, it provides up to 1,313 litres of boot space.
