Universal Star Kamal Haasan’s latest movie directed by Shankar is ‘Bharatiyadu-2’. This movie was released today. And let’s go to the review and find out how much it pleased the audience!
Story:
Chitra Aravindan (Siddharth) and his friends make videos on social media about corruption and injustice in the society and try to create awareness among people. In the background of some dramatic events that happened in this sequence, they all post that the Indian should come back. Senapati alias Bharatiya (Kamal Haasan), a freedom fighter who fought against corruption in India, returns to India. An Indian will kill those who have done gross corruption and looted people’s money. He also motivates the youth. A lot of tragedy happens in the life of Chitra Aravindan (Siddharth) due to the influence of Indian’s words. Everyone blames Indians for that. What actually happened?, Why did the common people get angry with the Indian?, So, what is the target of the Indian? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
In this movie, which is going to establish the corruption and injustice accumulated in the contemporary society, the movie has a huge cast, amazing visuals and huge action episodes as a special attraction of the movie. As usual, Kamal Haasan impresses with his acting as a general. Apart from Kamal’s look and mannerisms, his action episodes are also very good. Also, the animation visuals of Breaking Dogs are also good. Overall, the film is visually grander.
Siddharth is convinced in the role of Chitra Aravindan. Moreover, Siddharth has more screen time. SJ Surya brings life to his role as Sakalakala Vallavan Sarguna Pandiyan. Bobby Simha is impressive as CBI Pramod. Rakul Preet Singh also impressed in the role of Disha. Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar shines in her role. Samudrakhani also acted very well in another key role. Also, Vivek, Gulshan Grover and the rest of the cast also did full justice to their roles.
The highlight of the movie is the cartoon track that exposes the corrupt politicians and officials in the country. All in all, along with huge visuals, good emotions have also been shown well. Director Shankar has shown the shortcomings of the society very well. At the end, the shots revealed in relation to the third part are also good.
Minus Points:
The story of an old freedom fighter who fights against corruption in All Ready Bharatiyadu is very well shown in the film itself. Due to this, freshness is missing in terms of plot and characters in this sequel. Although the scenes are based on contemporary events, there is nothing new about them. This gives the feeling that the screenplay is going on very regularly. Likewise, some scenes were boring.
Moreover, many scenes were established to expose the corrupt politicians of the country. There is awareness about that corruption. It will be interesting to see what the Indian will do about that corruption. But, in that sense, the fact that this movie does not last for a long time is a bit disappointing. Moreover, along with Kamal Haasan, the length of Siddharth’s character in this movie is not good for the fans. Anirudh’s music also did not go well. All in all, this movie went on with boring play and outdated scenes at some places.
Technical Department:
Technically, the work of the technical department in the film is very good. Anirudh Ravichander’s music is not a plus for the movie. Ravi Varman’s cinematography is the highlight of the film. The cameraman’s work in some key scenes is very good. Editor A. Srikar Prasad Editing is good. The production values followed by Subhaskaran Alliraja, Udayanidhi Stalin, the producers of the movie are excellent. Director S. Shankar’s direction is very impressive. In terms of writing, however, they were not impressed.
Verdict:
This ‘Bharatiyadu-2’, which came amid huge expectations, has impressed Kamal’s fans. Also, Shankar Mark’s visuals and Kamal Haasan’s acting are a plus for the movie. However, things like boring play, outdated scenes and lack of much story, and some scenes being regular are the minus points of the movie. Overall, Kamal entertained only his fans with his looks and performance.
