KCR government: Balkampet temple developments lauded by Talasani

KCR government: Balkampet temple developments lauded by Talasani. Former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav visited the Balkampet Ellamma temple on Thursday and performed special pujas. He praised the significant changes brought by the KCR government in the temple’s development.

Talasani noted that before 2014, the annual Kalyanam of the goddess was conducted on a small scale. However, after the formation of Telangana, the KCR government massively developed the Balkampet temple. He highlighted that all necessary facilities have been provided for devotees, leading to a surge in visitors from 15,000-20,000 to much larger numbers now.

During his visit, Talasani also inspected saree-making work for the 21st Kalyanam, organized under the auspices of the handloom association. He congratulated the handloom artisans for their craftsmanship. Temple trustee Saibaba Goud and BRS party leaders, along with presidents of Sanat Nagar and Ameerpet divisions, attended the event.

The saree-making process was concluded with traditional pujas, and prasadams were distributed to devotees. Talasani’s praise for the KCR government’s efforts in developing the Balkampet temple underscores the positive impact on devotees and local artisans. The temple now stands as a model of community and cultural development under the current administration.
