Mahindra Hikes Car Prices By Up To 2.7%: Scorpio N Unaffected

Mahindra hikes car prices by up to 2.7% across most of its models, though the Scorpio N remains unaffected. The revised prices took effect from July 10, 2026, marking Mahindra’s second price hike this year following an earlier increase in April. The company has attributed the latest revision to rising commodity costs, which have strained input expenses across its internal combustion engine lineup.

The price adjustment primarily impacts Mahindra’s ICE models, including the Bolero, XUV 3XO, Bolero Neo, Thar, Thar Roxx, Scorpio Classic, and XUV 7XO. The Bolero sees the biggest base price rise among ICE vehicles, increasing by Rs. 49,000. The XUV 3XO is now priced between Rs. 7.79 lakhs and Rs. 15.04 lakhs, while the Bolero range starts at Rs. 8.49 lakhs. The Thar now costs between Rs. 10.32 lakhs and Rs. 18 lakhs, and the XUV 7XO ranges from Rs. 13.99 lakhs to Rs. 25.79 lakhs, all ex-showroom.

In contrast, the electric vehicle segment sees limited impact. Among Mahindra’s EV lineup, only the XEV 9S has received a price hike. Its starting price rose by Rs. 70,000, the largest increase across all models, positioning it between Rs. 20.65 lakhs and Rs. 29.95 lakhs. The XUV 3XO EV, BE 6, and XEV 9e retain their previous prices.

Mahindra hikes car prices by up to 2.7% to offset higher input costs, ensuring long-term sustainability. The Scorpio N remains unaffected, continuing its competitive pricing from Rs. 13.49 lakhs to Rs. 24.95 lakhs. This strategic revision helps Mahindra balance rising raw material costs while keeping key models accessible to buyers.
