Hyundai SUVs: 6 New Models for India by 2030 form a significant part of the automaker’s ambitious plan to launch 26 new vehicles in the country. Facing growing competition, the South Korean brand will introduce seven to eight all-new nameplates, along with facelifts and variants across ICE, hybrid, and EV segments. The lineup includes key SUVs such as the Bayon-based midsize model, next-generation Creta, and the HE1i compact EV.
Among the upcoming Hyundai SUVs, the Bayon-based BC4i is scheduled for the 2026 Diwali season. Measuring about 4.18 meters, it will sit below the Creta and offer petrol and CNG options. The HE1i, a sub-4m electric SUV launching in late 2026, will rival the Tata Punch EV with an estimated price of Rs 11-17 lakh and boxy styling. The next-generation Hyundai Creta, arriving in early 2027, could be Hyundai’s first hybrid in India with a 1.5L petrol hybrid system optimized on the K3 platform.
The Ni1i three-row hybrid SUV, competing with the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari, is expected in late 2027. Hyundai’s flagship Palisade, launching in 2028, may feature a 2.5L petrol hybrid and local assembly, priced around Rs 40-50 lakh. An off-road SUV is also confirmed.
