Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay has raised concerns about the naming of houses sanctioned by the central government, questioning why they are being named after Indiramma instead of reflecting the contributions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to the media, Sanjay also questioned the rationale behind providing free rice without a photo of the Prime Minister on new ration cards. He suggested that if Modi’s photo is not included, the government may reconsider its approach to providing direct support to the poor.

Sanjay further expressed confidence that the BJP would take control of the Karimnagar Corporation in the upcoming elections. He criticized BRS leaders for never inviting him to government events, despite his efforts in bringing funds from the Center. According to Sanjay, the development of Karimnagar was made possible by the Modi government, and he lamented that the BRS has done little to contribute to the city’s progress.

Sanjay also highlighted his involvement in bringing funds for the Smart City project but pointed out that BRS leaders only started the work once the funding had been secured. He accused the BRS government of fostering corruption and irregularities, emphasizing that the people of Karimnagar understood the source of the city’s development and had lost trust in the ruling party.

Finally, Sanjay criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for following in the footsteps of former CM KCR and not addressing the issues plaguing the state. He vowed that the BJP would continue to push for transparency and accountability in governance.
