Income Tax officials conducted raids on several production companies, including Mythri Movie Makers and Sri Venkateswara Creations, which concluded on January 24, 2025. Dil Raju, the owner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, addressed the media today to clarify the situation.

He stated, “Raids like these are common across all industries.” Dil Raju confirmed that investigators found Rs 5 lakhs in cash at his residence, Rs 4.5 lakhs at Sirish’s place, Rs 6.5 lakhs at his daughter’s home, and Rs 2.5 lakhs at their office. He emphasized that all of this money is within the legal limits and backed by proper documentation.

Dil Raju also mentioned that 90% of their transactions and ticket sales are conducted online, ensuring transparency and traceability. “Everything goes directly into the accounts,” he explained.

He further clarified that the rumors circulating on television were not accurate and should not be taken at face value. When asked about the tendency of producers to post inflated collections and fake numbers, which often attract the attention of the Income Tax Department, Dil Raju did not comment directly but underscored the importance of honesty and accuracy in business dealings.
