Kamal Haasan’s latest movie ‘Bharatiyadu-2’ is directed by Shankar. This movie is going to release on July 12, 2024. However, director Shankar made interesting comments at the Bharatiyadudu-2 pre-release event held in Hyderabad. Shankar said.. ‘For designing the character of Senapati… we took the front picture and profile picture of Kamal… the front picture and profile picture of his father… the front picture and profile picture of both his brothers and gave it to Art Director Thota Tarani. So he designed a character from all these. That is Senapati’s character in this movie. As soon as I saw that sketch, I got goose bumps,’ said Shankar.
Shankar further said… ‘We had a respectful fear that an Indian was walking around here on our set. If you see Kamal sir’s performance, no one else can perform better than this. It was I who introduced Siddharth to the film industry. He acted like a man who had done 10 films while making his first film. Now in the movie Bharatiyadudu-2, he has acted like a man who has done 100 films,’ said Shankar.
