Raayan is the latest movie directed by Dhanush in the lead role. This film is Dhanush’s 50th film in his career. The film, which is ready for release in theaters worldwide on July 26, 2024, has huge expectations among the audience and fans. There is a recent clarity on the run time of this film. During the Tamil pre-release event, the makers revealed that Raayan will be 140 minutes long (2 hours 20 minutes). Although the film has a star cast including SJ Surya, Sandeep Kishan, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Jayaram, the duration is kept short.
This runtime will definitely benefit the film if the content is promising. Speaking at the pre-release event, versatile actor SJ Surya said that the story is set in North Madras. Hats off to Dhanush. He said that he incorporated some important elements similar to Ramayana and Mahabharata and narrated this film in 2 hours and 20 minutes.
