Currently there is any awaited OTT series which has released with good hype on OTT and it is definitely the Hindi series “Mirzapur Season 3”. And when Amazon Prime Video released this series, let’s see in the review whether this series met the expectations.

Story:

Coming to the story.. Season 2 After the death of Munna Bhaiya (Divyandu Sharma), Sharad Shukla (Anjum Sharma) takes Khaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) to a safe house and gives him treatment. Meanwhile, Munna’s wife Madhuri Yadav (Isha Talwar) decides to make Uttar Pradesh crime-free as CM. But on the other hand Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) takes the throne of Mirzapur but the Bahubali stand against him and prevent him. At this time Sharad and Guddu make a condition to prove who is stronger. And who will win and dominate in this? Will CM Madhuri make crime free as she wants? To know how much of Khaleen Bhaiya’s role is in this, you have to watch this series.

Plus Points:

It is known that this particular web series is well received not only in Hindi but also in Telugu audience. With this, after two successful web series, there are good expectations for the third season. And it must be said that this season also entertains Mirzapur fans accordingly. Interesting twists provide them with a feast with good drama.

Also, this time in the season, good mind game and some characters, their taluk’s true colors coming out impresses. Also, Vijay Verma, Rajesh Thallang and Isha Talwar have given interesting performances in their roles in this series. Also, some other scenes are seen with solid emotions.

In addition to these, it must be said that the final episode of this season is a full feast. The last half hour is pretty intense with a lot of surprising moments. Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi and Anjum Sharma are among the actors of this season. From the start of the series, there is drama around these three, but their settled performances stand as the highlight of this season. Also, actor Pankaj Tripathi has limited screen time but has impressed in the few that he has.

Minus Points:

If there is one disappointing aspect to this series, it is to say that it is well stretched. Even the first five or six episodes seem too stretched. The series, which was to be shortened in one to seven to eight episodes, was taken in a well-stretched way. It takes a long time to get really interested in it.

It has to be said that it gets a bit boring with these. Also some scenes are predictable and good mass dialogues are also missed. Also, it would have been better if more entertainment had been added in this season.

Technical category:

The production values are good this season. There is no problem with music work in the technical team. Also, changing the beats of the title track in the last few episodes is good. Cinematography is neat and editing needs to be done better. VFX are good. When it comes to the directors Gurmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, they got bored at some places with some unnecessary sub-plots, but they were good in the last episodes. But with these, their work seems okay this season.

Verdict:

Overall, this season doesn’t seem much better than the first two seasons, but it’s okay. Also, the performance of the main lead Ali Fazal, Anjum Sharma, Shweta Tripathi, Vijay Verma and the drama around them is good, but many episodes have been stretched unnecessarily. Apart from these, the fans feel good in this season.
