Sensational filmmaker Pa. Star hero Vikram has joined hands for the film Tangalan with Ranjith. This project has been in the making for a long time. The movie is based on some real-life incidents that took place in the Kolar Gold Fields. The makers have not announced the release date till now which has disappointed the fans. However, the theatrical trailer of the film, which is 2 minutes and 12 seconds long, was recently censored.
It is heard in Kollywood film circles that the trailer will also have a release date. The makers are said to have prepared the trailer with powerful moments. The buzz is expected to increase after the trailer release. The film is likely to hit theaters on the Independence Day weekend. Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead in this period action drama. Parvathy Thiruvothu and Pashupathi are playing other key roles in this film which is jointly produced by Neelam Productions and Studio Green. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
