Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure producer Kishore Annapureddy explained why ticket prices for the film remain at normal rates instead of being reduced like other small films. The PAN-Indian mythological adventure drama is written and directed by Abhishek Nama and stars Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, and Ishwarya Menon. It is set for a grand release on July 3, 2026.
During a press meet ahead of the release, the team was asked about the pricing decision. Abhishek Nama replied, “Due to the massive budget, we didn’t reduce the rates.” Producer Kishore Annapureddy elaborated, stating, “If your product is right, all other problems will solve by themselves. Be it the software industry or the film industry, if the product is made right, pricing will have only a nominal impact.”
Kishore further emphasized his confidence in the film, saying, “If the product is not right, then you have to do all those things to recover your investment. You are saying an increase in footfalls leads to an increase in revenue. But I don’t want to enter that math as I believe in my product.” This approach highlights the team’s trust in Nagabandham’s quality and appeal.
Nagabandham promises a visually stunning mythological adventure with a strong ensemble cast. The decision to keep prices standard reflects a belief that compelling content drives audiences, not discounts. As the release approaches, this confident strategy sets Nagabandham apart in a competitive market.
