In this order, a new idol was installed in the temple built for Rajinikanth by an ex-soldier named Karthik from Tirumangalam, Madurai district. Karthik is a big fan of actor Rajinikanth. That is why ‘Arulmiku Sri Rajini Temple’ was built for Rajinikanth. Actor Rajinikanth’s statue was installed and worshiped there. On every birthday, Karthik organizes a festival called “Rajni Chaturthi December 12”. Currently there is a 250 kg 3 feet idol of actor Rajinikanth in the temple. Morning and evening pujas are performed to this idol.

A new statue of Rajinikanth was installed on the occasion of his 74th birthday. An idol of actor Rajinikanth has been erected in black stone with a height of three and a half feet and a weight of 350 kg. The idol was installed yesterday as a ceremonial figure, the source of the old idol. The new statue represents actor Rajinikanth’s role in the film Mappillai. Ex-serviceman Karthik said, “I am a big fan of Rajinikanth. Since 2021 I have been worshiping Rajini idol.Last year on October 26, 2023 we dedicated 3 feet 250 kg moolavar Rajinikanth idol. The statue installed yesterday is three and a half feet tall and weighs 300 kg. We want to anoint this idol with 8 types of panchamritham, ball, balu and sandalwood and wish superstar Rajinikanth to be healthy for a long time,” he said. This statue of Rajinikanth was designed by Sthapathi of Virudhunagar. A total of Rs. 70 thousand was spent for this. This statue has been carved for the last 6 months.
