“Pushpa2: The Rule,” the highly anticipated sequel starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, continues to shatter box office records. Released on December 5th, the film has amassed a staggering Rs. 1719.5 crores gross worldwide in just 22 days, solidifying its position as the highest-grossing film of 2024.
The film’s success extends beyond domestic markets, with “Pushpa 2” achieving remarkable collections from overseas territories, including Nepal. In fact, “Pushpa 2” has set a new record in Nepal, grossing a whopping 25Cr NPR (approximately Rs. 15.7 crores) by December 24th. This surpasses the previous record held by “KGF 2,” which collected 20Cr NPR in the same region. Director Sukumar expressed his surprise and delight at the film’s unexpected popularity in Nepal.
