Mohan Lal Barroz 3d Review in Telugu

Malayalam Megastar Mohanlal’s latest blockbuster is “Barrows 3D”. And this huge visual treat, directed by himself, was released as a Christmas present. Let’s see how entertaining this movie is in the review.

Story:

Coming to the story.. Burrows (Mohanlal) works very loyally with the Da Gama kings, a royal family that came from the Portuguese during 1663. But Da Gama (Ignacio Mateos) says that a loyalist should guard the huge treasure of the king, and the king goes away saying that he will return again in a month. What happened to Burroughs in this sequence? How did he have to stay in that royal fort for 400 years? Who tried to steal the treasure? Will Burroughs get salvation or not? How important is the role of Isabella (Shayla McCuffriv) in this story? We need to know what happened to that treasure by watching this film.

Plus Points:

It can definitely be said that this film is a good fantasy wonder that has come out in recent times. The film seems like a fictional Chandamama story. Fans of such fantasy movies may agree with some of the visuals and plot of this movie. Also, why this movie will be released only in 3D version will be understood only after watching the movie.

In terms of visuals and 3D effects, Mohanlal presented this film brilliantly with his vision. Also his performance in the movie is decent. As a loyalist, Bhutanga entertains Mohanlal in the film. Along with him, the child actress Esha also did well. Some emotions between the two seem to be irrelevant in the film.

Also the film looks very strong in technical terms. Mainly according to Mohanlal’s vision, some visuals in the cinematography, visuals and background score impress in the movie. Along with Mohanlal, the young actress Shayla McCaffrey will be pleasing throughout the film. Along with him, other English actors have done well in their roles.

Minus Points:

It has to be said that this film, which is technically very strong, is not impressive in terms of story. After an interesting start in the movie, the movie slowly turns very routine. All these types of movies seem to have been seen before.

Usually, such fantasy films come to us very rarely. Sometimes Siddharth’s films like O Dheeru have good fans. It is okay for those who like that kind of movies, but this movie will test the patience of other sections of the audience. The story feels too routine and unnecessarily stretched.

Mohanlal definitely needs to be more careful in terms of narration. Burroughs Treat would have been better if the story had been designed with a good fantasy line and more engaging scenes in the treasure-like concept. Also, most of the movie goes on flat, there are some exciting things like twists but it is not seen in this movie which is another drawback.

Technology Category:

As mentioned above, this film is technically very strong. Every rupee spent by the makers makes this a good fantasy movie. Also the settings, music and cinematography are stunning in the movie. Especially the 3D effects look superb. At some places it seems like a VFX week. Some scenes need to be trimmed in editing.

Coming to Mohanlal’s direction, he wanted to give a good fantasy film to the current generation, but it would have been better if he had thought of the story lines that would make the film engaging and planned a better version. Technically his vision is very good but still needs to work on screenplay and emotions. He got good performances from the actors but still something seems to be missing.

Verdict:

Overall, this “Burroughs 3D” looks very strong in terms of technology. Also the visuals look amazing in 3D. And those who like this kind of fantasy stories may find it okay but this film did not make the rest of the audience sit in the theater seats. Much of the narrative seems stretched. Those 3D effects alone, except those who are huge fans of Mohanlal, may skip this film.
