Cinema Tickets: The Telangana Film Exhibitors Association feels that the average audience is suffering due to the increase in the ticket prices of the big movies being released. The film chamber held a key meeting in the wake of Telangana government’s decision not to allow benefit shows and increase in ticket prices. Producers, exhibitors and distributors attended this meeting. In this context, the AP exhibitors also welcomed CM Revanth Reddy’s decision regarding the ticket rates. AP government has also asked to take a decision on this. Various topics were discussed on this occasion.

Exhibitors said that it is painful to increase the ticket prices from fans, college students, youth and public for two or three days after the release of a new movie. Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) Chairman Dil Raju has been asked to ensure that ticket prices for all movies remain at a fixed amount, it was announced. In this regard, CM Revanth and Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy welcomed this decision. There are many films in Telugu states where their budgets have been hiked for the convenience of the producers. But among these films, recently released Pushpa 2 has got a record hike in two Telugu states.

But there are differences of opinion on this. With this, the Telangana government has said that it will control the ticket prices at the latest. But the latest decision was invited by Telangana Cine Exhibitors. Cinematography Department Minister Komatireddy Venkatareddy said in the latest press conference that he welcomes the decision. Chairman Vijender Reddy, Andhra Exhibitors Sector Chairman TS Ram Prasad and Telangana Exhibitors Association Secretary Balagovind, who participated in the program, welcomed the decision of the Telangana government saying that they had already talked about how it would be good in terms of ticket prices.
