Tirupati Prakash: Veteran comedian Tirupathi Prakash, who has made his mark in the Telugu film industry, recently spoke about his film career, past experiences and changes in the current industry in an exclusive interview with Suman TV. He made the audience laugh with his comedy act in the 1990s and explained how it has become difficult to get opportunities in the industry now.
Tirupati Prakash Discusses Industry Struggles Today
Tirupati Prakash said, “Entered the industry in 1992. Acted in more than 300 movies. Working three shifts a day, the working environment was very motivating. But now things have completely changed. It became difficult to meet the directors and get their attention. Casting directors also tell us to bring photos and try for opportunities, sometimes it hurts the sentiments,” Pragya shares his current situation with anguish.

Recalling his past experiences, he cherished his association with star heroes like Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. “Chiranjeevi garu used to call all of us to his house and make mistakes himself. They used to pick us up in a newly brought caravan. The days of having fun on a scooter with Pawan Kalyan are unforgettable experiences,” he said happily. He explained that those golden days are still his inspiration.
Discussing the recent changes in the industry, he says, “Acting in films was once a very respectable thing. But now things have completely changed. Even senior actors are facing a situation where they have to try for opportunities. The roles may come, but at least there is a desire to give an opportunity to talk about those roles,” he expressed his feelings.
