CM Revanth Reddy: On the occasion of the completion of one year of the formation of the Congress government, public governance celebrations are being organized across the state. In this background, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participated in the closing meeting of the Rythu festival held for three days in Mahabubnagar. Many key announcements related to Palamuru were made in this meeting and the good news was given to the farmers of Lagacharla. In particular, he responded to the issue of land acquisition, which has become a hotly debated topic in the state.

CM Revanth Reddy Announces Farmers Compensation

Revanth Reddy alleged that the opposition parties are not giving away the land acquisition for the construction of industrial use in Lagachar. Believing the words of the BRS leaders who provoked the innocent farmers, they criticized the farmers for launching attacks against the officials and projects. He clarified that land acquisition is for development and it requires the cooperation of farmers. He said that his aim is to develop industries in his constituency, and he said that he will acquire land here and increase enthusiasm for the industrial sector.

Referring to the previous projects in the state, Revanth Reddy commented that even then land acquisition was done for development, but now BRS leaders are misleading the farmers. He said that their mission is to provide fair compensation without causing damage to the people. He expressed that the land is equal to mother and he knows well the attachment of farmers to their lands. The CM promised to provide compensation of Rs 20 lakh per acre to the farmers who will lose their land.

An attempt was made to calm farmers’ concerns with this announcement. He said that the government will take all measures to ensure that the farmers will get due justice. The Chief Minister appealed to the farmers to give their lands and cooperate for the development of the state. Revanth Reddy firmly stated that he will fulfill his promises by saying, “It is the child of Palamuru that gives.” It can be said that his words gave a belief and an assurance to the farmers.
