Vikkatakavi Web Series Review in Telugu

Story:

Coming to the story, this series is set in the 1970s. At that time Ramakrishna (Naresh Agastya), a very intelligent student of Osmania University, used to solve many problems easily with his intelligence. With this one of his professors gives him a mysterious challenge. In a village people suddenly forget their memories when they go to a place called Devatala Gutta. And why are they forgetting this? What were the challenges faced by Ramakrishna who went to solve this case? Did he solve the problem of that town or not? Does Ramakrishna have anything to do with that town? If you want to know the answer to the interesting questions about his past, you have to watch this series.

Naresh Agastya is one of the young and talented actors in our Telugu cinema. Recently, he showed his versatility in the movie Kali. Watching this series makes it even more clear that interesting characters like this suit him well. A settled performer in him is perfectly set for this series. He is impressive in this series with his manner of speaking and the body language of a detective.

Other actors have also performed well in this series. While Tarak Ponnappa has done a solid role, Shiju Menon and Raghu Kunche shine in their roles along with him. Also Ravi Teja Nannimalla and Amit Tiwari are impressive.

Brilliant screenplay is seen in this series. It should be said that it is going to be interesting to provide good curiosity to connect with the audience. A clean continuation of the story without any major distractions impresses.

Minus Points:

Although the moments in this series are quite interesting, many scenes still need to be presented strongly. At some places the narrative seems to drag slowly. Also many elevations should have been done better.

Also, it must be said that Mega Akash’s role in the series is somewhat disappointing. He doesn’t seem to have much depth in his character. With this, despite having a noted face like her in the series, her role seems wasted.

Also, the story seems simple and predictable at many places. Also, if there were interesting twists in this series instead of some stretched scenes, it would have been more gripping, but the makers could not use them to their full extent.

Technical category:

The production values ​​are solid in this series. Mainly, the precautions taken by the makers to accommodate the periodic back drop are good. The setting as well as the dressing make the series immerse itself in the era. Also the music and cinematography are good. They made the scenes reflect the tone of the series. Some slow scenes need to be cut in editing.

When it comes to the director Pradeep Maddali, it can be said that he has made a decent treat for the thriller audience in this series. The director’s effort to make the series line almost exciting is good. It should also be said that if he had presented many scenes in a better way, he would have taken another step. However, I must say that his work will impress those who want to watch a solid detective show.

On the whole, the first detective series from Telangana “Vikatakavi” has an interesting theme and good thrills with decent story episodes. Actor Naresh Agastya once again shines in the main lead and this series impresses. Otherwise, if some scenes were screened a little better, it would have definitely provided more thrills. However, this series can definitely be tried in OTT.
