One of the films that hit the theaters this week is the emotional drama “Satyam Sundaram” starring talented actor Karthi and Aravinda Swamy. And this movie which was released a day earlier in Tamil has been released today in Telugu. Let’s see how this movie looks like with the teaser and trailer.

Story:

Coming to the story.. Satyamuri (Aravinda Swamy) who lives in Guntur loves his own house for generations since his childhood but due to some reasons his family loses that house and has to settle in Visakhapatnam. But Satyam, who came to Visakhapatnam in 1996, had to go to his hometown for his younger sister’s wedding, but he had to go there against his will. After going to the wedding, Sundaram (Karthi) introduces himself as a well-known person. How did the introduction of these two go from there? Satyam feels annoyed at first, but how does Sundaram connect with him emotionally? You have to watch this movie to know how Satyam can face a beautiful woman whom he doesn’t know.

Plus Points:

Talented actor Karthi has given many natural movies in his career with his natural performance. And the rural setting of the films themselves means that they are more natural. So it can be said that this is another beautiful village movie from him. Moreover, it seems that this movie is better than all of them.

There is no doubt that Karthi’s emotional performance makes his fans and even the neutral audience very emotional. It must be said that Karthi brought life to the role of Sundaram with his looks, innocence and talkativeness of his character. Also, there is more emotion than how much fun is seen from his character. It will surely touch the hearts of the audience.

Along with him, Aravinda Swamy also gave his own performance in another important role in the movie Adyantham. There are scenes that make him feel very emotional. Especially the scene where he removes gold ornaments for his younger sister but in the pre-climax scene where he tells his wife for Karti, Aravinda Swamy’s emotional performance feels amazing. Also good fun scenes with Karthi.

Along with these, it can be said that the emotional play that the director wants to convey will work well in the audience. Someone we don’t know but we know them well and the love and affection they show to us is shown in this film very naturally without any impurities. It must be said that these will definitely move the audience.

Sri Divya, Swati Konde, Devdarshini and others who appeared in the movie did well in their roles. Also the Telugu dubbing is very good. The dubbing is not the same, every little thing taken according to the Telugu nativity seems to be careful and thorough in this regard, good marks should be given to the Telugu dubbing team.

Minus Points:

There are many interesting elements in this film but some scenes feel a bit over dramatic. Some scenes especially on senior actor Raj Kiran are not very impressive. Also, the film seems to be moving slowly at some places. Also, with an emotional second half, the first half feels a bit laggy.

Also, some scenes in the starting of the movie may feel a bit stretched for emotional depth. So some scenes like these may not connect to everyone. Also those expecting commercial elements should stay away from this film.

Technical category:

The production values are good in this film. Especially in the Telugu version, every little care taken is very good. Even small details have been done very well by the makers. And it must be said that the music is the backbone of the film. The songs that are very touching and appropriate to the background of the movie are very good. Govind Vasantha has given excellent work in this. Also the cinematography is good. Editing is also good. Although the film is almost three hours long, it was cut without boring.

When it comes to director C Prem Kumar, it can be said that this is another best work from him who gave an emotional drama like 96. Only a few scenes felt slow but the rest of the story but the emotions shown by him in the movie are very good. Touches the heart. If you look at the actors in the movie, you feel like you are seeing one of us or our town. He took the film with good emotions.

Verdict:

Overall, the movie “Satyam Sundaram” feels like a touching emotional drama after a long time. The emotional performances of Karthi and Aravinda Swamy are the story written by the director and the moving emotions in it get a good workout in the film. Satyam Sundaram is a good choice this week for those who want to change their heart without any fuss. Also, you can watch this movie in theaters without any problem with your family.
