BJP’s Parivartan Yatra: A Call for Change in Jharkhand Ahead of Assembly Elections

There are going to be assembly elections in Jharkhand soon, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to hold a “Change Rally” against the government led by Hemant Soren. The ‘Parivartan Yatra’ will start today, September 20, from Bhognadih in Sahibganj, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The ‘Parivartan Yatra’ of the BJP will take place in Jharkhand from September 20 to October 3. The party wants the people of Jharkhand to be freed from the JMM-Congress alliance government, which they say is crooked and doesn’t care about the people.

The BJP wants to show the people what’s wrong with Hemant Soren’s government through this “Parivartan Yatra.” With the phrase “Neither will we tolerate nor remain silent, we will bring change,” the party is ready to bring the JMM government to light through this campaign.

What is the “Parivartan Yatra” of the BJP?

“Parivartan Yatra” of the BJP will begin in Sahibganj with a speech by Amit Shah. The opposition BJP will start six “Parivartan Yatras” in different parts of Jharkhand. Their goal is to show how bad the alliance government run by JMM is and get rid of it in the upcoming assembly elections. The ‘Parivartan Yatras’ will go through all 81 assembly seats and 24 districts, a distance of 5,400 kilometers. The yatra will take place from September 20 to October 3, and each leg will begin on a different date from a different part of the group. There are five recognized divisions in Jharkhand: Santhal Pargana, Palamu, North Chotanagpur, South Chotanagpur, and Kolhan. For organizational reasons, North Chotanagpur is further split into two sections. The ‘Parivartan Yatra’ will go through all of these groups.

It was said by the BJP on social media site X that the JMM-Congress government had made the people of Jharkhand cry bloody tears. Officials who are corrupt and the gang are stealing from the state’s resources, and family-oriented groups are helping outsiders get in. “A wave of change is resonating in the hearts of the people,” the BJP said. The “Parivartan Yatra” will help the BJP reach every neighborhood, every house, and every family. They told the people of Jharkhand that voting for the BJP was the only way to save their money and honor. People were asked to be a part of this change by the party.

The BJP said that the “Parivartan Yatra” is more than just a political effort; it shows that the party wants to make real changes in Jharkhand. The party wants to use this plan to deal with important problems like growth, jobs, and social unity so that the state and its people can have a better future.

Freedom from family rule

The BJP said that the Soren family had been in power in Jharkhand since the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was founded in 1973 and that they were encouraging favoritism and betrayal. People have said that the Soren family encourages family power in state politics. After being pushed to the sidelines, senior JMM leader Champai Soren joined the BJP, which made claims of favoritism within the JMM even stronger.

Freedom from evil

The BJP says that the government of Hemant Soren is full of crime. Since Hemant Soren took office in 2019, there have been many stories of scams and carelessness in the state. Corruption is a big problem in the state. For example, INR 17 crore was taken from the home of a close friend of an IAS officer, and top officials, including the Chief Minister, are being accused of having too many assets.

Criminals and dishonest people should be punished

The BJP said that if it wins, it will bring crooks and dishonest people to justice because Hemant Soren’s government has not done anything about these problems.

Helping tribal groups get ahead

The BJP said that Hemant Soren was not working to improve and grow tribal areas, even though he was elected with votes from tribal people. BJP leaders were worried about the loss of tribal people in Jharkhand and blamed the Soren government for being easy on illegal immigrants, which they said was putting the state’s native groups at risk.

Building up of businesses and facilities

The BJP said that the Hemant Soren government was failing to improve Jharkhand’s businesses and infrastructure, even though a lot of money was given to these projects. The party questioned how far the state government had come in improving facilities and developing industry.

Job creation and economic growth

Unemployment is one of the most important problems the BJP wants to solve. Hemant Soren said he would create 500,000 jobs, but the BJP says that young people in Jharkhand are still having a hard time finding work. Recent events, like the sad deaths of 12 candidates during a screening test, have made it even clearer that the state government isn’t keeping its job claims.

Keeping Jharkhand’s culture alive

As Hemant Soren is in charge, the BJP says that Jharkhand’s character is in danger. The party said that the state’s cultural and social identity must be protected from policies that hurt it, and that this can only be done by changing who is in charge.

Increasing the BJP’s visibility with the “Parivartan Yatra”

Through the “Parivartan Yatra,” the BJP wants to show that it has a stronger hold on the state by handling local problems and issues and suggesting answers that could have a big impact on the political and social situation in Jharkhand. By talking to people directly, the party wants to learn about their problems and needs and come up with policies that will appeal to voters. This will help build a model of government that is more open and involves everyone.
