Review : ‘Hide and Seek’ – Boring Crime Drama !

Story:

Shiva (Vishwant) is a medical student. He is preparing to join the army as a doctor without even knowing his family. However, Varsha (Riya Sach Deva) is also studying in the same college where Shiva is studying. Both of them fall in love. Varsha’s family also agrees to their marriage. However, on the other hand, there is a series of murders. Why are these murders taking place?, who is behind them?, How did police officer Vaishnavi (Shilpa Manjunath) investigate these murder cases?, What is Shiva’s connection with these murders?, Why did the police arrest him? What finally happened? That is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

Vishwanth, Shilpa Manjunath and Rhea Sach Deva acted very well in this movie. Especially Vishwanth and Shilpa Manjunath became a special attraction of the movie with their performance. Shilpa Manjunath acted very confident as a serious police officer. And the crime scenes in the movie.. Similarly, the problems that come with unexpected game events in the crime journey.., the scenes where the main characters get caught in the circle of those problems.. and those few scenes where they try to escape from those problems are just okay.

Minus Points:

Although director Basi Reddy Rana tried to impress by putting some strong wild moments in this ‘gaming crime journey’, many scenes went slow. The crime scenes in the first half are boring. Also, in the first half, the director took a lot of time to introduce the characters in the movie and also to involve the audience in those characters. Moreover the villain character is very passive.

Similarly, the scenes dealing with regular crime investigation are not worked out at all. Although there is a possibility of elevating the content between the main characters, the director Basi Reddy Rana has not used that content properly. The story itself is very simple. The screenplay was also very regular.

On the whole, the lack of a proper plot in this ‘Hide and Seek’ movie and the depressing of all the key scenes in the second half are the main minus points of the movie. Overall this movie is not good.

Technical Department:

When it comes to the technical department, even though the director Basi Reddy Rana tried to screen the crime scenes as well as the action content in the climax well, it did not work out. The director also failed in terms of script. Lijo K Josh background score is just ok. Cinematography is also a plus for the movie. Most of the scenes in the movie have been beautifully shot by ‘Chinna Ram’. Editing is also okay. Producer Narendra Buchi Reddy made this film without any compromise. His production values ​​are good.

Verdict:

This crime thriller called ‘Hide and Seek’ did not go well. Some of the crime elements are just okay, but the main treatment is not interesting, the slow progress of the film is disappointing, and the boring and silly play in the background of gaming has damaged the result of the film. Overall this movie does not connect.
