Review: ARM – An impressive periodic action drama here and there!

Story:

In Ajayan’s (Tovino Thomas) clan, the men spend their lives stealing. Ajayan is insulted by everyone in the village since his childhood due to his birth in that clan. Even though he is away from theft, the police suspect Ajayan of thefts in the village. A most precious idol is coming into Ajayan’s life in the background of some dramatic developments in this sequence. What is the story of that statue with so much history?, what is the adventure of Kunjikelu (first generation Tovino Thomas) for it?, also what is the story of Manian (second generation Tovino Thomas)?, what did he achieve?, finally what twists and turns will Ajayan’s story take?, Kriti in between How did Ajayan’s love story with Shetty go? By adding three periods and interlinking three characters, the director has designed the play well at some places. Also, Tovino Thomas, who acted in three roles like Manian, Ajayan, Kunjikelu.. acted brilliantly. In this film itself with his mature performance

Nistar Saith, Jagdish, Pramod Shetty and other key actors also impressed with their performances. Director Jitin Lal’s taking and making style are very good. The background of the story is also a plus for the movie.

Minus Points:

The director who designed the character of Ajayan and the scenes of that character Taluk Vamsam very well, did not write the treatment of this film to the same extent. He failed to write an interesting story especially in the second half. Some scenes feel slow and regular. It would have been better if the mind game between the hero and the villain had been built more interestingly. Also the idol track needs to be well established.

All in all, except in the climax, the rest of the story lacks interest. Although the story could have been made more interesting, director Jitin Lal ended the film in his own style. Overall, though the hero characterization and BGM are good, the movie feels average. The movie would have been better if the villain character had been written more strongly along with the second half screenplay.

Technical Department:

Although director Jitin Lal was impressed with his take, he could not write the screenplay in a fully impressive way for the story line taken. The background score in the movie is good. Music director Dhibu Ninan Thomas has scored the songs. Cinematography is also good. Most of the scenes in the movie have been shot very beautifully. When it comes to editing, editor Shameer Mohammed had to reduce some of the stretched scenes here and there. Producers Listyn Stephen and Zachariah Thomas have made this film without compromising anywhere. Their production values ​​are very good.
