Director C Prem Kumar gained popularity across the country with his debut film 96, a super hit starring veteran actor Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. He also directed its Telugu remake Jaanu. Now, his next film, Karthi starrer Meyyalagan is all set for a grand release in theaters on September 27, 2024. In a recent conversation with a media channel, Prem Kumar discussed the 96 sequel.
He revealed that he has almost completed the script of the sequel. Although he hasn’t told it to Vijay Sethupathi yet, he has shared it with the actor’s wife. Prem stated that he will hand over the script to Sethupathi after finalizing it, and the project will begin after Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha complete their current commitments.
