Raayan, directed by Dhanush, has become the second biggest hit in Kollywood this year with a gross of around Rs.150 crores. This is Dhanush’s second film as a director after the critically acclaimed Pa Pandi. His next directorial NEEK (Nilaku En Male Nnadi Cobum) is all set to hit the theatres. The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Dhanush will once again don the director’s hat.
Actor Arun Vijay is expected to direct a film in the lead role. Dhanush’s talks with Arun Vijay are in the final stages and if all goes well, an official announcement may come. Some reports also suggest that Dhanush will play a pivotal role in the film. Currently, Arun is busy with Vijay Bala’s Vanangan. The film will hit the screens soon. If these speculations come true, it will be a big film in Arun Vijay’s career. On the other hand, Dhanush will next be seen in Shekhar Kammula’s Kubera.
