Raid, starring Bollywood star actor Ajay Devgan in the lead role, became a super hit at the box office. The film is based on India’s longest income tax raid against a Sikh businessman. Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla’s acting and Rajkumar Gupta’s excellent direction made Raid a huge success. It was remade in Telugu by Ravi Teja as Mr. Bachchan, but the remake version failed miserably. Not too long ago, the makers of Raid announced Raid 2.
The opening ceremony was grandly hosted by Mr. Bachchan’s team. At that time, it was announced that the film will release on November 15, 2024. Raid 2 has now been postponed due to the delay in the release of Ajay’s other film Singam Again. Raid 2 makers have now officially confirmed the postponement. Ajay Devgn will be back on the big screens on February 21, 2025 as Amay Patnaik. The team has released a brand new poster to convey the same.
Ileana played the female lead in the first part, but Vaani Kapoor replaced her in this crazy sequel. Riteish Deshmukh and Rajat Kapoor are playing key roles in it. This second part is also being directed by Rajkumar Gupta. T-Series Films is bankrolling the film in association with Panorama Studios.
