Telugu drama ‘Utsavam’ written and directed by Arjun Sai starring Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. Suresh Patil is producing the film on Hornbill Pictures. Prakash Raj, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad and Brahmanandam are playing key roles. The movie has already created a positive buzz with the teaser and trailer songs. This movie is going to have a grand release in AP and Telangana by Mythri Movie Distributors. The movie will hit the screens on September 13. In this context, heroine Regina Cassandra shared the features of the film in a press conference.
What elements impressed you in ‘Utsavam’?
Director Arjun Sai felt very beautiful when he narrated this story. There is soul in this story. He did a lot of research about the theater industry and wrote this story. So it is not a didactic film. It is a rooted story with all commercial elements. I liked it a lot.
Arjun Sai is a sensible director. A director who knows what elements are needed to bring the audience to the theatres. There are many wonderful actors in it. Also, Rasul Garu as DVP, Anup Rubens as music… everything was done well.
How will your character be in this?
In this I will appear as a corporate employee. He does not have a big impression on Love. Very independent. My character is independent women can relate. It is very important in the story. I found it very refreshing to do this character.
Did you do stage plays as a child?
I like stage play since childhood. I have placed in school and college days. There are many wonderful scenes about stage actors in this movie. All of them touch the audience.

Dileep is a hard working actor. Very positive soul. Always have a positive mind set. They worked hard for this movie. I really enjoyed working with him. I wish him good success.

How does Mythri Movie Makers feel about releasing a movie?
It is a very good movie. Director Arjun Sai wanted to tell such a great story as his debut film. It is very happy that a big company like Mythri Movie Makers is supporting this and they are releasing it in Telugu on a grand scale.
Are there short-term goals?
When I did my first film SMS, I felt that I want to be a versatile actor. It has never been far from me and I have been doing roles for many years. My goal is to do all kinds of roles that I can.
About next projects?
I am doing a film with Gopichand Malineni and Sunny Deol. There are two more projects in Hindi. They are announced by the makers.
