Kollywood’s latest blockbuster, Chiyan Vikram starrer Thangalan has entertained the audience and fans alike. Although it was not released simultaneously in Hindi, it collected 100 crore rupees at the box office. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film was released in Hindi last Friday and has been well received. Netflix owns the streaming rights of Tangalan in all major Indian languages including Hindi.
The film is all set to premiere on Netflix in South Indian languages from September 20, 2024. The Hindi version is likely to be streamed at a later date. An official announcement from Netflix is still pending. Starring Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pashupathi and Daniel Caltagirone in pivotal roles, the film is produced in association with Studio Green and Neelam Productions banners. Jeevi Prakash Kumar has given the music for this film.
