This is your 50th milestone movie.. How did this project start?

I started my career as a small actor. I have done supporting, comedy and villain roles. I have been doing lead roles since 2016. My dream is to become an actor. Still living the dream. Little did I know that this would be my 50th film as an actor when I started ARM. ARM is a very exciting script. Playing three different characters was a huge challenge. The director believed in me. We did workshops for this film. These three roles are unique to each other. I like all three characters in this. But the character of Mani who looks like a thief is a bit more like (laughs) it is a very passionate character. He is a very confident thief. Audience will enjoy a character very much.

Did you learn Kalari Fight in six months?

Learning art in six months is a big deal. I practiced Kalari fight for six months. Got an understanding of some basics.

Tell us about trusting a debutant director for a film of such a large scale?

I have been on a journey with Jitin Lal for eight years. The script he said is amazing. In my career, I have done 80 percent films with new directors. This is possible only with mutual trust.

What do you find challenging in this film?

You will understand when you watch the movie. It has many fight sequences. There are character switches. Make-up takes a lot of time. We shot in many locations. I prepared a lot for my characters. I wrote notes. They all helped. It has a non-linear screenplay. Time periods are easily understood by the audience. The director has captured every detail very well.

How is Kriti Shetty’s character going to be?

Three different love stories were seen in the trailer. Kriti Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh and Surabhi Lakshmi acted brilliantly in this love story.

About releasing in 3D?

We have created an imaginary fictional world for this movie. 3D helps a lot to immerse everyone in the story. Also releasing in English and Spanish languages. We are putting subtitles in almost 50 languages. A movie that connects universally.

The original reason for the title ARM?

ARM.. ‘Ajayanthe Randam Moshanam’. This means Ajayan’s second theft. It is a bit difficult to pronounce this name for other languages. That’s why we are dealing with ARM as everyone says.

About ARM Music?

Dhibu Ninan made popular music in Tamil. A brilliant background score has been scored for this film along with an excellent album.

Mythi Movie Makers about releasing this movie in Telugu?

I became associated with Mythri Movie Makers for the movie ‘Nadigar’. I have a journey with them. It is a pleasure to release a film in Telugu from a top distributor like Maithri.

Minnal Murali has many fans in Telugu as well.. Can a sequel come in your combination?

Minnal Murali director Basil Joseph is now very busy as an actor. If the sequel is to be made, it should be done when the story is better than Minnal Murali.

Do you watch Telugu movies? Listening to Telugu stories?

I watch Telugu movies. The first movie I saw was Chiranjeevi’s ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’. Telugu script discussions are going on. Let’s see. (Laughs)
