Actress Namitha recently visited Mathura’s Meenakshi temple. However, Namitha alleged that the staff of Mathura Meenakshi Temple spoke disrespectfully to her. Namitha posted a video saying that some of the staff there did not allow him to enter the temple. Namitha said in that video.. ‘As part of the Krishnashtami celebrations, I went to Meenakshi Ammavari temple with my family.
However, I was deeply hurt when the staff stopped me from entering the temple. They asked me to show my certificates which bothered me a lot. I have visited many famous temples not only in Tamil Nadu but all over the country. This has never happened. Namitha said in the video, “I want to take appropriate action against the staff who behaved rudely towards me.”
On the other hand, the temple administration staff responded to Namitha’s comments.. ‘Namitha was not treated disrespectfully. She was spoken to according to temple rules. After that we allowed her to enter the temple,’ the officials there clarified.
