After watching the movie, NTR said that it is good, you have handled the comedy well and you have also handled the climax very well. You will hear the words of Allu Arjun. What is the reaction of your friends and family?
All our friends are very happy. The movie is still playing well in our town. My parents did not know much about movies. But they think they are doing something. After the movie became a hit, everyone came and told me that your boy’s movie was very good. I was very happy.
How do you feel about getting so much money?
I am also very happy. At a time when even big movies were not playing properly, everyone came and watched even a small movie. The producer will feel happy for getting more money.
Are all real life events in the movie?
The reason why everyone likes the movie is that everything happens in the movie is real. Naga Chaitanya also said the same. All the theaters are blasting. That’s because of all the characters we know. An old character but all the characters I have seen on our side. Some of the scenes actually happened to me and I saw them. That’s why the movie connected so well.
How did the story approach Narne Nithin?
I approached many heroes with the previous story. But due to some reasons Nitin had to meet Gari. But now without him there is no real movie. He is the reason why I am sitting before you today. He also acted very well in the movie. I can’t forget him in life. His way of listening to the story is also very good.
How did Ankit and Kasireddy get into the movie?
Kasireddy is a collective decision but Ankit is my choice. He knows that he acts well. Vasu also had doubts before shooting. But after seeing the rush, he felt very happy.
Tell us about the other characters as well.
The heroine also acted very well. He understands Telugu. But did not speak. I don’t know Hindi. But they used to talk like that. Once I saw Vinod, I sent a photo to Vasu. He said it was a good choice.

No. Even though it’s a sensitive topic, it runs with comedy so it’s not a problem.
Everyone understands your strength in comedy. What kind of genre do you think should be done next?
I have nothing in my hand. I have two stories. Whichever one of those is okay. The next movie will not happen immediately. Be convinced first. Only then should it be done. Any serious topic.. I like entertainment. So are my stories. But I will take stories with content.
Hasn’t it become difficult to make comedy films lately?
I believe in situation comedy more than dialogue comedy. It worked out well for my film. It didn’t even take me long to write a story. Why is it easy for me because this is the world I have seen. If you have to write more then it may take time.
What do you think of the title before and after?
Earlier we thought of giving the title Ramalayam Vedi Kalisettu for this movie. I also said the title Ai. But Allu Arvind said that the length would not be good and the title was okay.
Will deleted scenes be added in OTT?
No. Some new rule has come recently. OTT should have the same run time as it does in theaters. So, in OTT, there is no ad. But Vasu said let’s release some scenes separately.
Did you have trouble with the weather during the shooting?
That is true. As long as you are watching the movie, the weather will be drenched with rain. But while shooting, the sun would come in between. It took longer than we thought. The budget has also increased. For that effect the whole floor had to be raked. Leaves and trees also had to be plucked. It was a kilometer so on one side, if we were paddling, it would be drying due to the sun. We faced a lot of difficulties like this.
They say that the budget has increased. Is the movie a hit, has it been covered and made a profit?
I don’t know what financial matters are. You have to ask Vasu Gari.
Yours is a small film in the middle of big films. How do you feel about being hit?
I am very happy as a debutante. I also told you at the pre-release event. Jathi Ratnalu movie is my inspiration. After watching that movie, I became a director. So I want my film to become an inspiration to someone and they become directors. That would make me very happy.
Has the release date worked out well for you?
My love is not there. Actually I am new. I thought, why are you taking me and putting me in the middle of all the movies? But Allu Aravind’s experience and faith in the film, he thought of this date. He is of the opinion that the next week’s collections will be good as it is a long weekend.
Gam Gam Ganesha released when you took Nayan Sarika?
By then his film was committed. We know that. But the movie is not released yet.
How did you feel about the film with the hero in the background in a big banner?
Even though it was a big banner, I was not stressed at all during the actual shooting. The co-director and the executive producer knew that the budget would increase and the shooting would start, but not even a single word came from me. Also, Bunny Vasu supported me a lot. If not this film we can make another film. But since this is your first film, this film should give you life. They anchored me by saying that they are very sweet.
Did the climax you wrote happen to you in real life?
I have never seen it. But I wrote it with the intention that it would be good. But Bunny Vasu saw something like that. That is why he is well connected. He also went to that wedding. But I don’t know that by the time I write a story.
Is this movie a hit, will you give a chance for the next movie?
Let it not be in our hands. If they like the story we tell, it depends on it.
