It is known that legendary singer P. Sushila (88) fell ill due to kidney problem. The doctors said that her health is stable now and she will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. P. Sushila was born on November 13, 1935 in Vizianagaram. P. Sushila sang more than 50 thousand songs in 11 languages from 1950 to 1990. P. Sushila was honored with the Padma Bhushan Award by the Government of India.
P.Susheela also received 5 national awards as the best singer. Sushila was married to Mohan Rao, a doctor. They have a son named Jayakrishna and two grandsons named Jayashree and Subhasree. Her sister-in-law Sandhya Jayakrishna Iruvar is also a singer. Presently, P. Sushila’s health is stable.
