Story: Thangalan (Vikram) leads a happy life with his wife Gangamma (Parvathy Thiruvothu) and their children. However, Tangalan had to lose his land due to the power of the then British rulers. He and his entire family are going to become slaves. In some dramatic developments in this sequence, a British noble comes to a tribe related to Tangalan to search for gold (‘in the Kolar Gold Fields’). However, Aarti (Malavika Mohanan), who is guarding the gold mines, faces big dangers. And how did Tangalan escape from Aarti and get the gold? Who is Tangalan? Who is Aranya (Vikram)? What is the relationship between him and Aarti?, what truth did Tangalan finally learn? That is the rest of the story.
