Story:
Karthik, Subbu and Hari are good friends since childhood. Karthik loves a girl named Pallavi who comes to the village to work from home. She likes him too. Subbu also loves the same girl. And who does Pallavi love? Will their love turn into marriage? What obstacles do they face? How are they solved? You have to watch the movie to know.
Plus Points:
The story chosen for the film Ai is old but the way it is presented is good. Narne Nithin, Kasireddy Rajkumar and Ankit Koya, the main characters of the movie, entertained the audience with their performances. As mentioned before, comedy is given a lot of attention in this movie.
As the story is set in the backdrop of Godavari, the cinematography work is very good. And the scenes between the friends filled with laughter. The things that should be in that love story are impressive. There are surprising twists that please the audience.
The way the comedy is continued in the second half is good. Friends join forces to make the love story a success. But the interesting elevation in the climax is the highlight of this movie.
Minus Points:
Choosing a routine plot for this movie is a minus. Love track is also somewhat unimpressive as comedy dominates it. Nitin Narne should have done the hero role better.
Even the heroine’s character should have been designed better. The songs were also not very impressive. The audience felt that the logic was missing for some scenes.
Although there is a good elevation in the climax, it seems to have ended too quickly. Had some mistakes been corrected, the movie would have been a blockbuster.
Technical Department:
Anji has shown great talent as a director. He was careful not to miss the commercial elements that should be in the film. The director was successful in getting good performances from the actors. Cinematography work is very good. The beauty of Godavari was well shown. Music and BGM by Ram Miryala and Ajay Arasada are fine. The editing work seemed okay. Build values are good.
Verdict:
The movie Ai impressed as a good comedy love entertainer. However, the pace and music in the second half of the movie did not impress the audience. Ai is the movie to watch with friends and family this weekend.
