Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898AD is a huge hit at the box office. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film has cameos. One of them is famous heroine Mrinal Thakur. She played a minor role. Mrinal appears in the first ten minutes. When asked about her presence in Kalki, Mrinal said that she didn’t even ask the makers for the story or her role.
I already knew that Kalki would create some kind of sensation and I was happy to be a part of it. Mrinal Thakur played the female lead in Vyjayanthi Movies’ previous film Seetharam, which was a smash hit at the box office. Mrinal was last seen in the female lead role in Vijay Deverakonda’s flop, Family Star.
