The upcoming youthful film Ippudu Kaka Inkeppudu has become the target of BJP and VHP as they have filed a complaint in Vanasthalipuram Police Station in Hyderabad as the film has hurt the sentiments of Hindu religion.

According to the complainants, one of the sequences released in the trailer showing the kissing of lead actors against background song of ‘Bhaja Govindam’ is objectionable and also the makers has demeaned Lord Krishna and Tulsi Mata in the film. The police have registered the complaint as a Suo moto case and started the investigation.

Meanwhile, the director of the film Yugandhar has pleaded ignorance and accepted that it happened by oversight and the song ‘Bhaja Govindam’ was placed by mistake in the trailer against the kissing scene which will be seen in a different placement, he explained. He also apologized for this lapse and also ensured that the objectionable scenes will be deleted accordingly. 

Ippudu Kaka Inkeppudu, releasing in theatres on Aug 6 features Hasvanth Vanga, Namrata Darekar, and Katalyn Gowda in the lead roles.
