1. Aaron Finch
One of the elite white-ball openers of the modern era, it is baffling, to say the least, that Aussie white-ball captain never really got a hang of IPL despite being a Stellar performer in the international arena. The only player to features in as many as 8 IPL teams, Auron Finch last turned up for the IPL in red and gold of RCB in 2020.
2. Martin Guptill
Martin Guptill is yet another elite white-ball opener who, despite establishing himself as one of the greats in the T20 format while playing for New Zealand or franchise-based League, could never establish himself in the IPL. Guptill, who has represented teams like Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, and Punjab Kings in the IPL, managed just 270 in 13 IPL outings at an average of 22.5 and a strike rate of 137.76 with just 150 + score.
3. Colin Munro
Munro has featured in 65 T20 s in which he has scored 1724 runs at an average of 31.35 and a blistering strike rate of 156.44 with 1150 s and as many as three hundred.
In 13 IPL Games, Colin Munro has managed a mere 177 runs at an average of 14.75 and a strike rate of 125.33 with 50+ scores.
4. Eoin Morgan
Morgan has had considerable success in international T20s but he has almost underwhelmed in the IPL. Morgan was in yet another horrific season-92 runs in 7 games at 15.33 before the IPL got suspended due to covid
5. Glenn Maxwell
Maxwell, who became a Million-Dollar Baby when he was picked up by the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2013 auctions, had a Stellar 2014 season for the Punjab Kings as he smashed a whirlwind 552 runs in 16 games at an average of 34.50 and a strike rate of 187.75 with 450+ scores.
