The Pakistan Super League which was earlier scheduled to resume in Pakistan will now be played in Abu Dhabi from June 9 to June 24. The matches were shifted from Pakistan to Abu Dhabi due to increase in the Covid-19 cases in the country.

Karachi Kings lead by Imad Wasim are at the top of the table followed by Peshawar Zalmi in the second place while Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators are placed in next positions on the points table.

The PLS 6 was suspended following the protocol breach before start of the tournament itself by Darren Sammy and Wahab Riaz who met the owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi who is not a part of bio bubble. Earlier the tournament was suspended after Alex Hales showed symptoms of Covid-19 in March 2020 forcing the PCB to suspend the tournament which was completed in November last year.

After PSL 6, Pakistan lead by Babar Azam will leave for UK for the white ball series against England to play 3 ODIs and same number of T20s from July 8 to July 20.
