There was a continuous drop in the positive cases of coronavirus in recent days in the country which is a good sign by all means. There were 1,27,510 new cases of Covid-19 with 2,795 deaths and 2,55,287 people were discharged in last 24 hours.
Karnataka and Tamil Nadu now lead the charts with highest number of active positive cases which is around 3 lakhs each with overall positive cases dropping to 18.95 lakhs. Kerala and Maharashtra with around 2 lakhs positive cases follow the two southern states in the tally of cases.
India’s active caseload dropped by 1,30,572 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate increasing to 92.09% today according to the Union Health Ministry. The positive caseload reported today was the lowest in the 54 days which means that the positive cases are on the downslide and the vaccination needs to be speeded up so that there will be more reduction in cases in future.
