While Pawan Kalyan is creating history with his latest film Vakeel Saab, on the other hand his is facing stiff opposition in the form of resignations from his own party. Janasena party received a big setback with the resignation of senior leader Madasu Gangadharam from the party.
Madasu Gangadharam who is an MLC during NTR’s regime and worked earlier as the convenor of Political Affairs Committee of Janasena party is now the Chairman of the Election Screening Committee. Gangadharam is the first one individual who has come forward and supported Pawan Kalyan after he launched the Janasena party. His departure from the party just before the crucial Tirupati elections has come as a jolt to the Janasena party.
In his three page letter of resignation, Gangadharam lambasted Pawan Kalyan for not giving due recognition to the seniors. He also lamented that, even in case of Save Vizag Steel Plant agitation, Pawan has not supported the steel plant voters of Gazuwaka who are fighting against the privatization of steel plant.
Gangadharam also alleged that Janasena is not functioning according to the aspirations of the people and concluded that he cannot continue with someone who doesn’t know difference between cinema and politics. How the Jansena supremo will address these issues and put an end to controversies surrounding his party will be known in near future.
