The second phase of COVID vaccination drive will commence from March 1, 2021 in India. Nearly 27 Crore people are going to be administered the vaccine in this phase. Out of this 10 Crore will be in the age group of 60+ and remaining will be in the age group of above 45 with co-morbidities.
The vaccination drive which is starting from Monday will be available in 10,000 government health centers and 12,000 private centers across the country. Those who are eligible for the vaccination in this phase can self-register on Co-Win, the government’s portal.
In the first phase of vaccination started on January 16, the health care and frontline warriors have been adminstered the vaccine consisting of more than 1.30 Crore doses till now as per the figures revealed by Union Health Ministry.
