Actress and former Mysore MP Ramya has filed a lawsuit in the city’s Commercial Court, alleging unauthorized use of her videos in the film Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare. Ramya claims that the filmmakers used her footage without her consent, prompting her to seek legal recourse.

In her petition, Ramya has demanded compensation and stated that despite multiple requests to the producers to remove the video, there was no response. She also mentioned that she is willing to withdraw her claim if the video is deleted from the film.

Accompanied by her legal counsel, Ramya submitted the necessary documents to the court to support her case. The issue has sparked discussions about copyright and consent in the film industry, highlighting the importance of respecting an artist’s rights.

Further developments in the case are awaited, as the court is expected to deliberate on the matter in the coming days.
